What Is Hardening Strengthening One's Will?
God doesn't harden anybody who hasn't already grown stubborn by their own choice, in their own rebellion. He's simply giving them over to their already co desires and hiding them from anything that might convince him to do otherwise. So one of the plagues might have convinced pharaoh to go against what his original will was and let the people go earlier than what god wanted him toLet the people go,. because god wanted to demonstrate his power through all the plagues. And so we're not saying that god is causing his rebellion or causing him to have these negative thoughts about god.
