Biden is doing something here as well, and he may owe a debt to one of his opponents in the 2020 Democrat primaries. Peter Buttigieg said that freedom doesn't belong to one political party. He went on to argue that healthcare, consumer protection, racial justice, LGBTQ, labour and women's rights were all about freedom. The chance to live a life of your choosing and keeping with your values, that's freedom in its richest sense.
