But studies suggest researchers need to be more alert to irrelevant muscle hes and fidgets that may contaminate the readings. Some scientists push back, arguing that so long as we know that the visual cortex isn't just involved in vision, or that a memory network is doing more than its name suggests, we don't necessarily need to rethink the categories themselves.
