The Power of Coaching
You're training to be a professional coach at the moment. How useful is that for someone in their early years of their career? I was quite skeptical about coaching before I did it, actually. The more I've done of coaching, the more I realize how incredibly powerful it can be because you're changing people's lives if it's done well. In terms of being a junior, where it's useful is things like building confidence and dealing with difficult situations. You might just have two sessions and that'd be okay. Therapy is open-ended. Coaching is time-limited, goal-oriented specific. So it's measurable and specific. It's definitely not mentoring.
