The Majesty of God's Grace

The point of Psalm 8 is not how great man is but how graced man is and how great God is. David takes up the word majestic because it's a psalm of praise. Majesty is a word of praise because divine majesty is so closely connected to divine glory that we might even see the word majesty as providing God's people with further language for glory, for their praise.
