The New Dawn of Gravitational Astronomy

Gravitational waves could be the start of a completely new era in astronomy. Being able to detect gravitational waves from black holes will tell us so much about the universe, says David Walliams. More telescopes are coming online that will be able to detect these pulsars more accurately. We have hopefully a space interferometric going up called Lisa in the 2030s which will be ableto detect intermediate-sized black holes or the gravitational waves from them.
