Bioluminescence in the Ocean
Edie Whitter studies the creatures that live in the deepest parts of the ocean. She also dives underwater in submersibles that can descend thousands of feet below the surface. Edie says, as you go deeper, it gets darker and darker. Eventually the color disappears completely and it's just this dim gray light.
