Mitch's Cancer Diagnosis
The moment it dawned on me that I loved Mitch was a really complicated one. It was the day we found out he has stage two testicular cancer. The doctors are extremely positive and hopeful that he'll essentially be back to his life as a healthy 24 year old soon. So it's not as if I'm inLove with the dying brother. I'm in love with the brother who had a significant health scare but who will almost certainly bounce back to who he was before. But Mitch's cancer diagnosis was like a big glowing arrow in my life and it showed me exactly what I want or at least who I think I want to spend my life with.
