You Work When the Baby Sleeps, Right?
"I refuse to take no for an answer and I made people take chances on me," she says. "My parents' generation was the first generation in all of my families to really do anything in post-secondary" She got into a habit of getting up at 4.30 in five in the morning so that she could work when her son slept. But even through that, she spent time elected as councillor before going back to PhD program. 'That's amazing. I am in awe of you.'
