Don't drink a ton of fluid before going to sleep because there's a direct circuit from the bladder to the brain stem. Try and keep your sleeping environment as dark as possible. Don't obsess about one little light or something, but if you've ever been in the hotel with a bright blue light, it's really annoying. Some people can see light through their eyelids more than others. So where'd I mask if you want to, but keep it dark.
