In the early 1990s, I was working with a graduate student at the time. We started visit different places along Pennsylvania along the road and just chop the car. Cops would sometimes stop to talk to us a little bit. It didn't take as long. We started to find lots of fossils. And in fact, one of the graduate students found an early tetrapotter from rocks 365 million years old. That convinced the funding agencies to send you to the Arctic.
