Jacob Arminius and the Doctrine of Preventive Grace

Jacob Arminius was a Calvinist, but began to get into debates. He became convinced that Calvinism was wrong and introduced another Protestant option called Arminianism. His doctrine of prevenient grace would stand in opposition to each one except total depravity. But he believed in the concept of original sin.
