How Many Steps Are Needed in Power Query?
Mike: I always start with, let's see what the how many queries there are in power query. How many steps? Are all those steps needed? And then where can we clean that? Can i remove some of these queries? Ind do this in sequel ore? Can i just optimize this a little better? Tommy: The first place i always look is just size and cardinality of allte the m columns and relationships within the model itself. There's also a case here for, are you bringing in too much data? Mike: You don't know what you're going to need from that data table, but youre going to bring in everything.
