Is There a Consequence of Evolution?

There will undoubtedly be examples where I am completely wrong. But those examples are going to be really rare. The galaxy is full of rocky planets like Earth with water on the surface and it's full of carbon chemicals. Life which shares a lot in common with life on Earth will be common. Sure, there'll be weird stuff that I've never thought of and no one has ever thought of - but that's going to be rare.
