Memory Accessibility in Amnesia

Laria: Amnesia may be coapting a natural process, a natural process of forgetting. We tend to consider forgetting as an unavoidable sequence of having imperfect biological brains. But if memory is recoverable under certain circumstances, then the brain can potentially have it both ways in that we can forget what we don't remember. Laria: Forgiving allows us to avoid our long term memories from over fitting to noisy environments. And this would be really mal adapted for every day life.
