I think our institutions and the adults are reinforcing these styles of thinking. Every time a progressive institution automatically defers to the ideas of gender identity in its policies, they're telling students effectively you can't be wrong about who you are. So it's really encouraging a kind of victim mentality where you just keep feeling attacked all the time. It discourages empathy. And then there's also the fact that people being encouraged to treat any criticism,. as I said, of this set of ideas as criticism of them. But it's also just shutting down the bait, quite obviously. Ian Hacking is probably the most obvious person we need to take on here. He has got a book called Making Up
