What's the Status of This Theory?
There's lots of different ways you need to try to test it, and i think this is still an ongoing area of science right now. We know things about the getting dynamics, at least motor gating dynamics, in animals that seem to drive a lot of this theory. Multi tasking is you're always going to do worse when you multitask. I can't simultaneously write my grant and do my child's mator check. Why not? Shouldn't that s become gum chewing and walking? And that's where cogn control theory can help us understand a bit.
