The Theology of the Body, Like St. Thomas, Isn't a Tomes
Carol Voitiva was fundamentally a tomes, as a phenomenologist. He was classically trained as a priest. Every priest knew St. Thomas until you get to about the mid 80s. That's not to say no priest knows about St. Thomas. It's just not as emphasized, unfortunately for us.
