The Originalism of Judges

The idea of originalism starts with Ralph Berger, who's kind of a research fellow at Harvard Law School. It is a quote conservative approach in the sense that it discourages judges from reinterpreting open ended provisions in accordance with contemporary contexts. Originalists are very concerned about that there'll be, people will start thinking of judges as holy political actors and not constrained at all.
