The Problem With Interferometry
The idea of interferometry is that you can separate two telescopes and they act like one telescope together. The core of this was used with the Event Horizon Telescope where various telescopes around the world working together as one gigantic virtual telescope, the size of planet Earth. And it doesn't just have to go to an L4, L5, like you could just have an interferometer sitting on the moon or sitting just in orbit around the Earth.
