What Should We Expect People in the Field to Do?

10% of any PhD cohort will progress into a traditional tenure track line academic career. That leaves us with 80% of our cohort going into practice, consultancy or independent research and secondary teaching. How can we then connect the benefit of this sub discipline to how they can directly use it? Nothing so practical is a good theory.
