The Role of Project Finance in Rapid Deployment of Renewables
I completely agree with Elizabeth on the certainty side I think there is there is policy risk absolutely but to end on a slightly positive note there is kind of the direction from government is to provide some more of that certainty. One of the most common questions we get as a market advisor is around the uncertainty of the network and one of the positives coming out of this will be the certainty around the shoring up of the network. We do need to build tens of gigawatts of new renewables both to decarbonize but also actually to replace the coal assets on the system that are increasingly unreliable and aging. It's not the role of project finance players to change the way they're thinking about problems.
