Anthropomorphism in Artificial Intelligence

We we have this inherent tendency to, like you said, anthropomorphise. To project human qualities and emotions on to non humans. It seems very hard wired, cause we do it from a really early age. One of the first things that babies learn to recognize as faces is face - even if they're not real faces. So we'll anthropomorphise animals, will project emotions onto them that may or may not actually be there. Usually we get it wrong.
