The Ukrainian war aims as stated now by President Zelensky and his colleagues is to take back all of the territory that Russia has taken since 2014. Some people think one possible end to it might be a Korean solution where you do have, there's no peace treaty. That would involve Ukraine having pretty robust Western security guarantees going forward for as long as one can see that the United States and other NATO countries will keep it very well armed.
