Do Higher Frequencies Have Any Benefits for Building Muscle?

It does not seem that higher frequencies are inherently, independently, on average, superior for strength gains. Most studies did use equated training volume so they were mostly using pretty moderate overall week training volumes per exercise. There have also been some suggestions that the the efficacy of per session volume kind of hit the point of diminishing returns around somewhere in the neighborhood of maybe ten sets in a training session. But in neither of those circumstances are you dealing with ridiculously high single session training volumes.
