The History of Chivalry

Chivalry is a concept that has evolved and developed with society over the course of six or seven hundred years. It was started as kind of a warrior's code of honor, it emphasized the Knights' role as a protector initially. In later periods, chivalry became more of what we think of as the law of arms, a military code.
