The Importance of Teaching Science of Learning

I had the opposite of what most schools were encountering. Most schools the teachers want this change and they potentially don't do it. We call them a laggards. The people are just really, really push back and all not change. They'd rather change schools or retire than eventually make that change. For me, the big thing in getting staff to at least give it a go was just sharing our data. I shared our nap plan data with the staff. It made it easy for me to share that this isn’t working. What we're doing isn't working. There has to be a better way"
