Free Speech Is Harmful

Elon musk hasn't threatened to take anybody off the ap he's not saying that, i'm going to silence progressives. The idea behind free speech is that no group, especially an ideologically driven group, its fit to decide what other people can say. Outside of a few very narrow exceptions, like terroristic threats, no one group can be trusted to be the arbiters of what's said and not said by others. That's just how this country sees speech. You don't get t you don't get get to control that. But it's a risk that's worth taking to make sure that speech isn't arbitrarily censored.
