After the tragic mash shooting at columbine high school in 19 99, some mediapundants ind religious groups said, enough was enough. The jerry springer show survived the city council hearing and continued to produce new episodes until 20 18. But other daytime talk shows didn't last by the end the nineties, they were dropped one by one as viewers grew tired of the formax.
