I'm not really a plotinus guy. In many ways, i would argue that his student profery was probably like the first straight up neoplatonist as it were. I don't know that there's a lot of evidence to suggest that he actually thought there was this ontological or metaphysical thing, for lack of better term, that he called the one. But for the later, later platonists, certainly popere acus procles down the line, the one basically becomes god,. but not a anthropomorphic god. The one is beyond all things.
