The Performance Characteristics of Julia

Julia was built with speed in mind. It's a compiled language, so you can get that performance sort of out of the box. But for folks who are doing development in other languages and you want to see this really in action, go and write some of your code in julia. See what the performance looks like after you've rewritten it.
