Is It a Good Framework for Database Migration?
Migrations are really helpful because, you know, it could be something even more advanced than just adding a column. And having those kind of batched up in what's essentially like in a lookser script, it really helps make it possible to ensure that that's consistent on everyone's copy of the database and production and testing environments. It allows you to more easily roll back those changes. If your queries are not well behaved, you can lock up the database to because it's trying to do too much all at once. Kind of leads into my maybe next question, maybe a little bit away from migrations.
