Obsidian: A Dual Setup for Note Takers

John Sutter: I've been using this dual setup for the past few months of with apple notes for note taking an obsidian for writing and tax editing. The latest feature being there's a brand new properties feature that is effectively a UI front end for the existing metadata, like the YAML metadata that you can add as front matter to a note in obsidian. In version 1.4, without giving up on the underlying syntax, there's a much more user friendly way to handle what are called properties. And it's very hard to explain to somebody else what they need to do.
