The Gift of the Library

The state had to inventory every square inch of land and everything on it. After the project was completed, what did the state Water Board do with all those plans? They gave them to the town library. On the wall above the bank of drawers that held the blueprints, the hung up manuscript, framed and under glass. A letter dated 1912 from the town clerk's office in much faded handwriting. It was a resolution of thanks to Ezra Beaman's great grandson thanking him for the gift of the library.
