The Importance of Intuition in Risk Management
Most successful day traders understand leverage. They understand the implications of leverage, but they also understand how to employ leverage. When something has a 95% probability of going either up or down, that's when you want to leverage up because the odds are heavily stacked in your favour. The second one was that traders at few techs were extremely good at when it was tough, when it was hard, the good traders knew to back off. It was that intuition that was what made them such good risk managers.
