People change their minds for rational or, or a rational reasons and they acquire new aspects of their character. And these new aspects are at odds with their old ones like religious conversion or deconversion. But we still think that the Christian or the atheist after conversion or deconversions is more of a responsible, even though they're not acting on their history. I think people are still responsible for what they do in light of these new characters that they are constitutively lucky and having.
