How Did You Get on Horseshoe Crabs?

CNN's John Sutter talks to Atlantic staff writer Alexis Madrigal about his story on horseshoe crabs. He says he saw a study which had the unpromising name, sub-lethal behavior and physiological effects of the biomedical bleeding process on the American horseshoe crab. And then he did that thing that we do now, you know, horseshoe Crab and then Google images. Underneath them are what look like kind of a two liter bottle,. And there's blue blood in it.
