Dr. John Brinkley claimed to be able to reverse his direct amies by shoving goat ovaries inside ladies. He slid articles into the local news with titles like Dr. J. Ah, Brinkley swamped with lettuce from women craving halo of motherhood. But people aren't quite as dumb as they would have been in another era to believe this stuff worked just because a lot of medicine was nonsense back then.
