A healthy plant will either not be attractive to slugs and snails or be able to cope with whatever attraction they have. The first rule of good gardening is, pay attention. Just use your eyes. And obviously, what i'm looking for are changes, good and bad, o where we are. At this time of year, the big change over this week end is all the apple blossoms come out. It means the fruit won't set and form and won't be polenated. So therefore, i can think ahead and think, unke, we'e ging to have wel get our problems. Not much i can do about it, but at least it's information
