Max Alvarez on the Netflix Documentary Series the Work of Living

Max Alvarez is editor-in-chief of the Real News Network, former editor at the Chronicle review host of the Working People podcast. His book, The Work of Living was published by Orbooks in 2022. Max has written and will soon publish a rather long article in the baffler about the documentary because Max himself has a somewhat similar sounding podcast called Working People where he does what ostensibly what Obama is trying to do but does it in a very sort of poor, flat neoliberal way.
