House Speaker Kevin McCarthy said the DA should be put in jail. CNN asked him about that tweet today. Here was his response, quote, I think we'll stick with just what we tweeted out if you want to report that. No evidence. That about sums it up. Hammer the talking points, fact be damned, or at least distant.
