Chandran Kukathas on Genocide
Philosophy Bites
00:00
Introduction
Chandran Kukutas argues that the legal definition of genocide fails to capture what's really wrong with such crimes. The term 'genocide' was coined by the Nazis in their attempt to wipe out European Jewry. It has also been used to describe other episodes in the 20th century, including World War I and 1994 Rwandan massacres. This is Philosophy Bites with David Edmonds and Nigel Warbatten.
