The Benefits of Economic Connectedness
Economic connectedness is how well connected in terms of friendships are the poor to the rich. It's just by far the most highly explanatory variable on predicting somebody's economic mobility, says Sean Brady. So it seems that these connections really tell us a lot about somebody's prospects of moving out of poverty.
