Why Should It Matter to Have Male Teachers in Schools?
The evidence suggests that when there are male teachers in schools especially in certain subjects like English the boys seem to do a bit better. There's some evidence that a bigger mix will be good for boys in the long run as to why we don't really know. It could be that male teachers have a more intuitive understanding of male behavior and so they're less likely to see a boy's behavior as problematic kind of prayer to a female teacher, says Stynum.
