The Slower System and How It Can Help You Solve Problems

The left brain makes a couple of interesting assumptions, you might say, or it's designed to look at the world in a certain way. The slower system has to focus down on that problem and decide what are we going to do about this specific little problem. Most of what we talk about as character and reaction is in the faster system, but it's also a form of thought. So Christian character change has to actually integrate those two separate systems.
