Free Will Is Compatibility With Determinism

i've done some research on it, so have others. And i focus on the first two kinds. O ok, can we define determinism just for this sure? Ok. This is the way we think of it in the freewill literature. If a universe is such that a complete description of the universe at any point in time entails all other truths about the universe, then the universe is deterministic. Ah. So free will is compatible with determinism, right? The mid grade guys say, well, ok, that decision isn't free no matter how sane and rational and uncoerced it was,. unless you could have done something else given everything exactly as it was.
