Is There a Difference Between a Preacher and a Slave?

Is there really any sort of deep relationship tween pain and suffering? Or is it that we have made the mistake of equating two uncomfortable states? The way that we can best describe suffering is it's aversive. But if i had to choose, i would definitely choose option b.
