What Are the Downsides of Puberty Blockers?
Puberty blockers have been prescribed to kids since the 1980s. They were originally a treatment for something called precocious puberty. When you go through puberty, your bone density increases really significantly. There's some evidence that when you block puberty, your bones kind of stay the same levels of density.
