The old model, especially here in the east of sending your kids to our conversation school once a week and they'll speak English is just not functional. If speaking English equates to just being able to parrot a few set phrases, my teacher had me repeat over and over and over again. We ask schools for 40 minutes, lessons, five days a week but we can work with four or three days a week to accommodate school needs. But beyond that, investing in teachers is really important. Is there planning or prep time? Even though we provide lesson plans, we ask schools to still set aside time for teachers to get comfortable with them.
