I think the problem that a lot of content creators have is that they want it now and they want it before they've done the work. It took me 10 years of professional writing at an incredibly high level till I was any good. It is about quality and devotion to craft. Quality will always rise. Devotion to craft always matters. If your history doesn't include 50,000 fans on Instagram, Facebook, don't bother trying to self-publish or anything. You know what? It's a long, slow process. And I'm not saying don't be massively ambitious, be massively ambitious but you have to be way more patient with yourself and with your craft, I think.
